Sadly I left Italy, traveling from San Candido to Innsbruck, about 84 miles, over 2 hours. I am now in Austria, but only for a short time before heading home. I have less than a full a day to take in some sights, ever mindful of a 3:00 am transfer to Munich airport.
I entered Austria via the Brenner Pass, a mountains pass in the Alps, that forms the border between Austria and Italy. Though this alpine pass was regularized by the Romans, I did it via the Autostrada. The mountainess views when entering Innsbruck from the Autostrada are spectacular.

After tossing my belongings into my hotel room, I had a short time to mill around the city and take in some sites. The whole afternoon was a blur so I don’t have much to say. Enjoy some photos.
